Stewart Selects Barclay

Barclay College is excited to announce that one of Haviland’s own, Natalie Stewart, will be attending Barclay College this fall to play volleyball while pursuing a degree in Psychology and Family Studies. She felt God’s call to attend Barclay, and is looking forward to growing her faith as she prepares for a career. She desires to be God’s instrument of change on campus.

Stewart is a 5’6” front row player that played her high school volleyball at Kiowa County High School. Traditionally the volleyball program at KCHS is very strong and Stewart was a varsity player her junior and senior year. She also played flute in the band, sang in choir and enjoyed being creative in art. She has gone on several missions trips, been active in the high school group at Haviland Friends Church, and served with “Youth Making A Difference”, the youth branch of the South Central Kansas Community Foundation.

Head coach Larry Lewis commented, “Natalie will be a wonderful asset to our team in many ways. She has a strong work ethic, will be a wonderful teammate and will represent Christ on and off the court.”
