Wyoming Point Guard Commits to Lady Bears

Head coach Marcus Mitchell and the Lady Bears continue to bolster their roster for the 2016-17 season with the signing of Kaitlyn Hiser. The Glenrock, Wyoming native is a 5’6″ point guard that could be a major contributor for the Lady Bears sooner than later.

Hiser was a 3 year girls basketball varsity starter for the Herders of Glenrock High School. She was named captain her senior year and earned 3A East All-Conference honors. In addition she ran cross country and track. She was involved in 4-H, NHS, and Family Community Career Leaders of America.

Mitchell concluded, “We are thrilled that Kaitlyn decided to start her college experience at Barclay. She is very athletic, has a great work ethic, and she is coachable; I am excited to watch her grow on and off the hardwood this year.”

Kiser plans to major in Business Administration and is anxious for the opportunity to learn both on and off the court.
