{"id":4425,"date":"2013-02-18T19:54:13","date_gmt":"2013-02-19T01:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.barclaycollege.edu\/wordpress\/four-bears-honored-on-all-conference-teams\/"},"modified":"2016-08-06T16:36:06","modified_gmt":"2016-08-06T21:36:06","slug":"four-bears-honored-on-all-conference-teams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bears.barclay.college\/four-bears-honored-on-all-conference-teams\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Bears Honored On All-Conference Teams"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"center\">\n  <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/barclaycollege.edu\/news\/data\/upimages\/hhhhhhhh.jpg\" align=\"none\" border=\"0\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<p>\n  Friday night in Joplin, MO the MCCC announced the recipients of the 2012-13 all-conference teams, among them were two members from Lady Bears&nbsp;squad&nbsp;and two members from the men&#8217;s team.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  On the ladies side, Sophomore Jamie Larsh from Haviland, KS earned 2nd team all-conference recognition while Senior Kaylee Miller from Great Bend, KS was named all-conference honorable mention.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Larsh is a sharp-shooter who broke the school record for most made three pointers in a game (9). Miller, a defensive specialist and team leader, did a lot of the intangibles as the Bears locked up a third place finish during the MCCC regular season.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The men&#8217;s basketball team landed two of its players on the first team following an 8-2 run through the conference. Senior Toney Hatton from Irving, TX and Sophomore Charles Brodhead from Lompoc, CA were awarded plaques from the conference during a presentation prior to their semi-final match-up with Ozark.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Hatton shot a blistering 60% from the field as he averaged 18 points and&nbsp;5 rebounds on the season playing the power forward position while Brodhead averaged 19 points and 7 rebounds playing the small forward position.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday night in Joplin, MO the MCCC announced the recipients of the 2012-13 all-conference teams, among them were two members from Lady Bears&nbsp;squad&nbsp;and two members from the men&#8217;s team.
