In addition to playing high school soccer, he has also played both club soccer and in the Olympic Development Program since arriving in the United States from Somalia in 2004.<\/p>\n<p>Dahir considers\u00a0soccer a blessing from God and his goal is to\u00a0achieve\u00a0a bachelor&#8217;s degree, and\u00a0to someday work in the area of physical therapy.
