Haviland, KS – Tuesday night, the Barclay women’s basketball team hosted Manhattan Christian a Midwest Christian College Conference game.

Not long into the first half, the Lady Bears dug themselves into a hole and it wasn’t until the last five minutes of the half that their intensitiy on defense kicked it up a notch. However, this still left the Lady Bears trailing 47-25 at the half.

Barlcay women came out the second half and played their best pressure defense of the season but this was not enough to help them climb out of the hole they got themselves into the first half, leaving the Lady Bears with an 80-41 loss to the Lady Crusaders .

Next action for the Barclay women will take place this weekend with two home games played Friday vs. Calvary Bible at 6:00PM CST and Saturday vs. Ozark Christian at 1:00PM CST.
