Meadows Commits to Barclay

On June 27, Kalli Meadows from Sterling, KS, signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the Lady Bears this coming Winter.

In response on why she chose Barclay, Kalli replied, “I decided to come to Barclay College because it is a small Christian college, and I get to continue to play basketball while I further my education.”

The 5’4” sharp shooter played a vital role in the success of the Reno County Sabres homeschool organization; she averaged 11 points and 2 steals per game. Over the last 2 seasons, she has been selected to three all tournament teams.

“Kalli is a great addition to our team and the college.”-said Head Coach Marcus Mitchell. “She is a scrappy player that can knockdown the open jumper. Kalli has strong fundamentals, great work ethic, and she loves the game. I am looking forward to watching her grow on and off the court.”

Meadows hasn’t decided on a major. She is the daughter of Gerald and Lori Meadows.

Meadows joins Alexis Gloude of Goodwell, OK, Kierstin Newberry of Attica, KS, and Audra Hampton of Inman, KS as members of the Lady Bears 2017 recruiting class.
