Barclay College Men’s Soccer player Kingsley Assibey was honored as the NCCAA Division II student-athlete of the week for the week spanning from September 1st through the 8th. During that span, Assibey connected on three goals while the Bears won three tough matches.

On Tuesday, September 3rd, Assibey connected twice against Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College (Moore, OK) to lead the Bears to a 3-1 victory. Then over the weekend, he helped lead the Bears to victory over Grace University (Omaha, NE) in an OT thriller on Friday night and then scored a third goal on the week in the Bears 2-1 come from behind win against Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, IA).
