Women’s Basketball at SW Region

The Lady Bears competed well in arguably the most competitive NCCAA region in the nation. For their
efforts freshman, Jamia Jackson was selected to 1 st Southwest (SW) Region team while her senior
teammate Sarah Easterwood was placed on the honorable mention team.
1 st Team All Region: Jamia Jackson
Jackson was an unanimous all region selection! She was a huge reason why we were ranked in the top 10
nation in points per game. For the season, Jackson average 19.0 ppg (8 th in the Nation, averaged 3 3FG a
game and shot 44% FG) and 2.7 steals per game.
Honorable Mention: Sarah Easterwood
While only playing about 20 minutes a game, Easterwood still found a way to be a force in the game. She
averaged 10.0 ppg (shot 47% FG) and 8 rebounds.
Barclay finished 5-3 in NCCAA SW Region play. The NCCAA SW is made up by the following schools:
Arlington Baptist University, Champion Christian College, Dallas Christian College, Kansas Christian
College, Manhattan Christian College, Ozark Christian College, Randall University, Southwest Adventist
University, and Spurgeon College.
