Soccer gets first win at Union Adventist
Barclay traveled to Nebraska to take on Union Adventist, who will be an MCCC opponent in the near future, and came away with their first victory of the season. The final score was 3-2 and the game was as close as the score showed. Barclay jumped out to a two-goal lead with those goals scored by Danielberg Tavares and Eduardo Amaro respectively. Union Adventist responded by scoring the next two goals to tie the game in the 56th minute where the score remained for almost twenty minutes before Kieran May put the game away in the 73rd minute to secure the first victory of the Bear’s Men’s Soccer team of the 2026 season. The Bears are back in action Tuesday 9/1 for the home opener against Pratt CC at 6:00pm!
