NCCAA Region Honors Brodhead and Hatton
Joplin, MO – The NCCAA Southwest Region honored two Barclay College Men’s Basketball players over the weekend. Sophomore Charles Brodhead and Senior Toney Hatton were among the leaders in the region in the eyes of the region’s coaches.
Brodhead received first-team honors in a season where he has averaged 20 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals per game.
Hatton missed being on the first-team by the narrowest margins and will complete his collegiate playing days as a second-team all-region member. He averaged 19 points and 5 rebounds per game before a season-ending injury on February 8th cut his season short.
“These guys are much deserving of the post-season recognition they have received. They are great players and it has been fun to see their progress both on and off the court over the years. I am very proud of them,” said Head Coach Royce Bryan. “Any time a team can have the type of success that we have had in the win column, there will be rewards and recognition that come with that success. These guys teammates deserve a ton of credit as well.”
