Head Coach Brad Lingafelter commented, “Shandy is a girl that will come in right away and help us. When she came on her visit, she was very impressive and I am ecstatic that she chose the Lady Bears! I can envision Shandy being a wing/forward hybrid. Right now she is more comfortable around the basket, but, she is more than athletic enough to work on other areas to make her a threat from multiple areas of the floor. A player of Shandy’s ability and character is a great way to kick off what I feel will be a great recruiting class.”
