Haviland, KS – Freshman forward Eduardo Salazar (Huntsville, TX) earned the NCCAA Division II Student-Athlete of the Week for his play from September 3rd through September 9th.

On Tuesday, September 4th Salazar assisted on two goals to help the Bears beat Southwest Region rival Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College (Moore, OK). He followed up that performance with four goals and one assist in a 7-1 win over Emmaus Bible College (Dubuque, IA). Then on Saturday, September 8th, Salazar scored the golden goal in a 2-1 overtime victory against Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, IA).
