This previous weekend the Midwest Christian College Conference concluded its regular season schedule and released the pairings for the conference soccer tournament which will start Thursday, Oct. 20.  This year’s tournament will be held at Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, MO.

Ozark Christian College (Joplin, MO) received the #1 seed after concluding their season 5-0-1 in conference play. Manhattan Christian College finished 5-1 placing them as the #2 seed, followed by Barclay College, and then Emmaus Bible College (Dubuque, Iowa). Seeded 5th  in the tournament will be Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, Iowa), despite giving Ozark their only blemish in conference play. Calvary University (Belton, MO) will be the #6 seed with Central Christian College of the Bible closely following as the #7 seed.

The Bears first match-up will be on Thursday, Oct. 20 against Calvary University at 12 p.m. The Bears were able to defeat Calvary 4-1 in early September.

Match 1 – Quarterfinal – 12 p.m. (3 Barclay vs. 6 Calvary)
Match 2 – Quarterfinal – 2 p.m. (7 CCCB vs. 2 Manhattan Christian)
Match 3 – Quarterfinal – 4 p.m. (4 Emmaus Bible vs. 5 Faith Baptist Bible)

Friday, Oct. 21
Match 4 – Consolation Semifinal – 12 p.m. (3/6 loser vs. 2/7 loser)
Match 5 – Semifinal – 2 p.m. (3/6 winner vs. 2/7 winner)
Match 6 – Semifinal – 4 p.m. (4/5 winner vs. 1 Ozark Christian)

Saturday, Oct. 22
Match 7 – 5^th Place – 10 a.m.
Match 8 – 3^rd Place – 12 p.m.
Match 9 – Championship – 2 p.m.
