SW Kansas Native Chooses Bears
Tanner Huck has decided to play basketball for the Bears this coming winter. Huck is a 6’2″ small forward from Coldwater, Kansas.
As a Senior for the South Central Wildcats homeschool organization he averaged 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals, and 1 block per game. With the help of Huck, the Wildcats took first place at the Sunflower Invitational last January and finished their season with a fifth place finish at the National Division II Christian Homeschool Association Tournament held in Topeka, KS in mid-March.
“Tanner is a great addition to the team.,” commented Head Coach Royce Bryan. “He not only posses the ability to stretch the defense with his shooting but gives us a little bit more size around the basket. However, the best part about Tanner is that he is a great young man that loves the Lord.”
Huck is undecided on a major but is moving in the direction of something in the communication field. He is the son of Duane and Beth Huck.
