“Growing up in Newton, Kansas I played club soccer during grade school. During high school, I played four years at Berean Academy where I was named First-Team All-State my senior year. I took a break from soccer for a while, but came back to the sport where I played three years for Barclay College. At Barclay I was named honorable-menton all-american twice, and I was named to the all-tournament team twice at ACCA national tournament, as well as a two time academic all-american. During my time away from playing I received my brief coaching experience. I had the amazing oppurtunity to work as a soccer instructor for a bunch of grade school kids at a soccer camp. In 2011, I graduated with a degree in youth ministry from Barclay College which prepared me for my current life working as the associate pastor/youth pastor at Pratt Friends Church. I am extremely excited about my oppurtunity to work with the young men on the team, and my hope for the team is that they grow together as they imitate Christ not just in soccer, but in every area of life.”
