Barclay College Lands Two More TX Recruits

Last week BC Men’s Soccer Head Coach Kevin Lee secured the talents of two Texas United FC teammates in Josh Moore and Julio Cobo. Both signed letters of intent to attend Barclay College in the fall as Lee continues to load his roster with young talent.

As a Senior forward at Cinco Ranch High School (Katy, TX), Moore was selected to the All-Region Team as well as 2nd Team All-District.

Lee commented, “I really like that this talented young man is a team player who has the talent to either score or set up a score.  He will be fun to watch as he gets to play with his former teammate Melvin Lara.”

He is the son of Richard and Lucia Moore.

Cobo played fullback for Cy Lakes High School (Katy, TX) but can play in multiple positions. He will bring an incredibly strong shot, foot skills, and will bolster the Bears back line when needed.

“I love the versatility that Julio brings to the team,” said Lee. ” I look forward to seeing him develop and grow as a student athlete and as a man of God.”

He is the son of Alfredo and Haybi Cobo.
