BC Womens Basketball Lands an Oklahoma Recruit

RaeLyn Epp has chosen to continue her basketball career as a member of the Barclay College Lady Bears. RaeLyn is a graduate of Corn Bible Academy in Corn, OK. RaeLyn has been the point guard for a Corn Bible Academy program that has had back to back State Tournament appearances, including a State Championship her Junior season. RaeLyn is the daughter of Randy and Rachelle Epp.

RaeLynn had a solid senior season in which she had averages of 8.3 pts, 5 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2 steals a game.

Head Coach Brad Lingafelter concluded, “I loved watching RaeLyn play when she came up for her visit. I had two words going through my head as I watched her: smart and consistent. She did a good job of moving the ball where it needed to go, taking shots when she was open and even mixing it up a little for rebounds. As a point guard, ball security and offense initiation are priority number one and I think she is going to be great at that. I was impressed with her mechanics and think she can be a big threat in our style of offense. Plus, she comes from a program that has had great success. I am big believer that winning is a habit you can cultivate. Tasting success breeds a desire for more success. RaeLynn is going to be in the mix for guard position minutes and I am excited to have her coming to Barclay in the fall.”
