Dual Sport Athlete Commits to BC

Barclay College is pleased to announce that Taylar Pfaff, from Minneola, Kansas, will be coming to Barclay College in the fall to pursue a major in Business Administration. Pfaff is a 5’9” dual sport athlete that plans to play both women’s basketball and volleyball in 2016-17.

“I love the community of Haviland and Barclay College,” concluded Pfaff about choosing Barclay College. “Everyone is so friendly, and I get to continue playing the sports I love.”

At Minneola High School, she played post on the basketball team and outside hitter in volleyball. In basketball she earned All Southern Plains-Iroquois Athletic Association 2nd team honors as a senior.

Head women’s basketball coach, Marcus Mitchell, said, “Taylar’s enthusiasm and energy is very contagious. We are fortunate to have Taylar be a part of our athletics program, and I am excited to coach a great young lady with a tremendous work ethic.”

Barclay College head women’s volleyball coach, Larry Lewis, concurred, “She is athletic, jumps well, and gives 100% effort. She will be a great fit with our team and is ready for the challenge of college sports.”
