Friday evening the Midwest Christian College Conference paused at their annual tournament to acknowledge both the men’s and women’s all-conference winners from the regular season. On the women’s side, Sophomore RaeLyn Epp received Second Team honors while Junior Tommy Leach received Honorable Mention honors on the men’s side.

Epp has had a memorable second year with the Bears. She has already been name the NCCAA Student Athlete of the Week once this year and leads the Bears in multiple statistical categories.

Leach, also in his second year at Barclay College, has led the Bears in scoring for most of the season, including being among the leaders in the nation in free-throw percentage (80%).

“Both RaeLyn and Tommy have done an incredible job representing Barclay College and their teams both on and off the court. They have been thrust into leadership roles and their God-given talents have shown through. We are very proud of them in their accomplishments and look forward to watching and partnering with them in their future endeavors,” commented Athletic Director and Men’s Basketball Coach Royce Bryan.
