Saturday afternoon the Lady Bears concluded a busy week when they took to the court in Omaha, NE for their final regular season game. Two days before they played at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist in Moore, OK and in the same week played their final home game of the season against Manhattan Christian College (Manhattan, KS).

On the heals of two tough losses against NCCAA Division II nationally ranked opponents, the Lady Bears rose to the occasion on Saturday. Grace University matched the Bears shot for shot in the early minutes of the game, but the Bears found their stride and took a lead into the locker room at the midway juncture. In the second half the Lady Bears overcame adversity and some sketchy officiating to hold onto their lead. In the final minutes the Lady Bears connected on their free throws to escape with a solid road win, 72-62

With the win on Saturday, the Bears finished the season winning four out of their last seven games to earn the #4 seed in the Midwest Christian College Conference Tournament set to begin on Thursday, February 20th. The Bears will take on #5 Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, IA) at 2:00 PM CST on the campus of Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, MO.
