Junior Forward Kingsley Assibey (Accra, Ghana), Barclay College’s reigning Midwest Christian College Conference Most Valuable Player, was chosen to join FC Wichita’s  training squad following a tryout October 17th-18th of this year. He was one of 32 chosen out of 120 potential players. FC Wichita (http://www.fcwichita.com/) is a member of the National Premier Soccer League and their inaugural season begins May of 2015.

Assibey played his last three years at Barclay College where he amassed 47 goals in that tenure and accumulated a host of awards to accompany his 2014 MCCC MVP. In addition to his MVP award, he received MCCC first team honors in 2013 as well, is a two-time NCCAA Division II All Southwest Region first teamer as well as a two-time NCCAA Division II All-American.
