Jamondre “Buc” Odie of Mesquite, TX has decided to attend Barclay College in the Fall of 2014. Odie is a 2013 graduate of North Lamar High School in Paris, TX and comes to BC by way of junior college.

In the process of leading the Panthers into the playoffs at North Lamar HS as a junior and senior, the 6’2″ Odie earned recognition as the 2012 District Newcomer of the Year, 2012 Defensive Player of the Year, Red River Valley Athlete of the Week,  and 2013 First Team All-District.

“We are extremely excited that Buc was led to come to Barclay College,” said Head Coach Royce Bryan. “His motor never stops and he has the length and athleticism that will allow him to guard virtually anyone on the court. He will be a great asset to the team and I look forward to seeing how the Lord uses him in this community.”

Jamondre “Buc” Odie is the son of James and Teffany Odie.
