Haviland, KS – This last weekend home stand brought positive results for the Lady Bears as they hosted two MCCC teams.

Friday night the Barclay Women’s had a rematch with Calvary Bible. The Lady Bears led wire to wire this time around and the result was a 63-40 win. Leading the Lady Bears with 7 three pointers was Sophomore Jamie Larsh (Santa Cruz, CA). Also contributing was Junior Brandi Moral (Great Bend, KS) with 15 points.

Saturday the Barclay Women’s team hosted Ozark Christian. After already beating the Lady Ambassadors once this season, the Lady Bears knew what needed to be done. Although the Barclay Women were in control of the game throughout, their poor shooting allowed the Lady Ambassadors to stay within striking distance. Tough defense prevailed as the Bears won  58-49. Leading Barclay in scoring was Freshman Raelyn Epp (Weatherford, OK) who poured in 23 points.

The Lady Bears will play their last home game of the season this Tuesday at 7:00PM CST vs. NCTA. It will be senior night and the Bears will honor seniors Kaylee Miller and Artaya Climes.
