Larsh Breaks Record in Final Home Game

Haviland, KS – The Barclay women’s basketball team faced NCTA on Tuesday night for their last home game of the season.

It was obvious the momentum from this weekend carried over when the Lady Bears jumped to a 21-4 lead early in the game. The Lady Bears were in complete control for the duration of the game, winning 69-46 over the Aggies.

Leading the way for the Lady Bears was Sophomore Jamie Larsh (Santa Cruz, CA) with 27 points. Her 9-12 outing from behind the arch broke the Barclay women’s record for most three pointers made in a game.

Senior Kaylee Miller (Great Bend, KS) shared her thoughts on the game, “Having the whole team come out with a lot of energy was key to setting the tone for the game. Not only did that make for an easy win, it made my last home game at Barclay a lot of fun because I got to see my teammates come together and play for each other.”

Next action for the Lady Bears will be this Friday vs. Dallas Christian at 6:00PM CST and Saturday vs. Rhema Bible at 4:00PM CST.
