Haviland, KS – Barclay College Bears Soccer was back in action Tuesday, September 18th in Moore, OK. The game was a rematch against Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College. Exactly two weeks prior, the Bears defeated the Saints 3-1 in Haviland, but this time around the Saints were able to defend their home turf.

In a game where the Bears had nearly double the number of shots on goal, Head Coach Kevin Lee commented, “after a slow start in the first half, we came alive in the second half and had many opportunities to score but were unable to finish.” However, with roughly twenty minutes left in the game, the Bears were whistled on a questionable call just outside the eighteen box and the Saints converted on a set piece to get the win 1-0.  

On Friday, September 21st the Bears (4-5, 1-3) will play at Central Bible College (Springfield, MO) at 3:00 PM CST. On Saturday they will  play at St. Louis Christian College (Florissant, MO) at 3:00 PM in a MCCC game.
