Tuesday night mother nature rolled into Kiowa County and interrupted the men’s soccer game with Dallas Christian College (Dallas, TX). With the game tied 1-1 shortly after intermission, the lightening and thunder forced the Barclay College administration in conjunction with the officiating crew to delay the game.

After waiting nearly 45 minutes for the storm to pass, there was no relief in sight and the game was called. Since 70 of the minutes were not played, the game was not official and the chances of rescheduling the match, at this juncture of the season, are slim to none.

The Bears will take on the Barclay College Alumni Friday night at 7:30 PM CST before they head to Moore, OK to take on Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College next Tuesday, October 6th. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
